Day Spa Treatment

These arrived today and they have to go to the end of the queue whilst I'm working on other razors.
But it's still good to give them a bit of pampering until I get to them.

Nothing special, just soak in a bath of WD-40 for a few hours, then hit them with the Dremel and a wire wheel.
Then hand-polish with Mothers and spray with WD-40 again and put each razor in a ziploc bag.

The first 3 pics are the vendors and the next few are the results of the "spa treatment".
I always have a good variety of wire wheels, etc for this purpose.

Uuuh nice! That's some good work you get out of your wire wheels, I was never impressed with mine and switched to greaseless compounds. Did you shave with them, yet?

I like that Kaufmann! You do indeed get good results from a Dremel - I could never quite get the hang of it.

Laurens, I won't get to shave with them for a few weeks at least.

Let me know how it goes. My wire wheels are a little too harsh on my face lately so I've been considering the cutoff wheels... Wait, what are you talking about? :confused: :rock:

I admit I was thinking the same thing, but didn't want to be the ass to say it :p My wire wheels are quite soft, though, getting too soft to remove stubble/rust.

...yet another benefit of advanced age...
