    Well you guys are awesome!!! So many terrific ideas to try but I went with some blue magic and 0000 steel wool. She looks almost brand new besides some spiderweb pitting, but I am not going to touch her again unless its with a whetstone.Name:  image.jpg

    I can't help but say that patina and some age markings is just a character of the blade. Its life if you will. Something to read while you shave with it or show a buddy!

    Well walleyeman, I wasn't worried about the patina or pitting. I could have dealt with that no problems, it was the deep sanding or grinding marks going along the blade.
