    Here is the next one. Scales are rough shaped right now but the blade had a frown, chip in the edge by the heal, broken tip, hone wear and a little rust here and there. Its the last one in my to do drawer. After the repairs its a little shorter and thinner but it should shave.

    Not sure how far I'll go with this one in terms of sanding/polishing since there is some staining that will be hard to remove without extensive sanding. However I did polish with 3M then darkened the etch back.

    I'd be happier with the nice etching than the polish, I think.
