Question on tang & tail width & grinds before I do it

G'day all,
as I anxiously await the posty with my Brunoblade, I have been looking at & planning finishes and scales etc

part of my ideas last week was the reshaping of the tang & tail a bit more,
my theory is this should be OK since the tang could be thinner like a Kamisori razor which only have a thin & fairly straight handle
but then it accrued to me that this could be a hindrance when using it if I go to thin vertically.

So my questions are as follows:
1^st would some of you with a bit more experience in use or making off different 1” straights (than this noob) think this could be a problem in use?
I'm up for both the Pros & Cons of changing the shape

2^nd which of the following shapes do you prefer ( I am leaning towards the top drawing if it is not going to effect it )
I do note: that Bruno has since I drew this last week odd, posted a monkey tail a bit like the smooth centre one but longer I think.

Can't help with the re-shaping but I'm thinking I like the top and middle best, the bottom pic tail looks a little thin for my taste IMO. Nice blade none the less, have fun with that!

I like the top and bottom one best, because there are going to be 2 fingers on the tang. With that design, those fingers will naturally stay in place during shaving. Also I like dimples, divots and notches. I think they make the design look more sleek. Just my preference of course.

What equipment are you going to use to do this?

Thanks Bruno Looking at using the 80 grit linisher at work it has a 5" wheel for the bigger areas as far as I can
Then either a tungsten bur see how it goes or resort back to lots of small barrel sanding bits
Last resort will be the angle grinder for bulk removal in the tight curves then back to the burs and dremel
See how I go I will improvise as required to give the best results without the heat input the final shape will be by feel most likely anyway these are my guides

My concerns have mainly been removing the tang area for height but I think the lower point should make up for it when stoping etc
