Since I started this hobby/sport of SR Shaving, Acquisition and Restoration back in June, I've mainly focused on making custom scales with 'exotic hard woods". I really like seeing the wood grain come out after finishing. I've done some blade restoration, but nothing that would be considered mirror finish. Mainly concerned with getting the blade cleaned up and shave ready so I can put it to use.

Beautiful collection! But I think "talent" comes in several forms. Some have a natural ability that still needs practice and others just have a mix of desire/passion that leads to skill-building by the same hours of practice. Both result in lovely works of art made by artists! :tu
