Default Marbled and Crushed Velvet Plastics?

    Hi,

In surfing around some of the knifemaker and pen carver websites, I've seen some very cool swirly pearly plastics. However, they're always sold in knife handle or pen turning block dimensions. Anyone know of a source of sheet stock more suitable for us straight lovers? I love wood and have some good exotics but I really am drawn to these plastics sometimes.

    Thanks,
    Steve

Check out masecraft supply. They'll cut it in any dimension you could want, and have some really superb patterns. Their service is very good, too.

Thanks for the source. I have also been looking for some cool looking handle material.

Thanks Joe! A quick glance looks like they are the motherload :-) I hope these forums aren't keeping you away from the wedge I sent for sharpening hehe.

    Thanks again,
    Steve

Nope...it's already on its way back to you. I hope you don't mind the few...modifications I made. What with the new baby coming and all. Besides a couple of those things were necessary. It's no wonder you couldn't get it sharp...that was probably the most badly worn razor I've ever seen. Anyway, I had to modify it just a bit.

Holy-Blade of-Excalibur, Batman!! Just received the razor today. What a job you did - well beyond the call of duty. Please see my rave in the Vendor subforum.

Thank you so so much - you are a master,
    Steve
