    Default Johann Breiddhor restore

Many years ago I got this as part of a job lot from ebay:

Somewhere under the rust was a nice enough razor. The scale was useless and the chips probably made it more like a razor shaped comb, in all honesty it should probably have been binned as not worth the time. Although the rust and scales were not too much of an issue the chips were as they get quite close into the engraving. I wanted the practice of removing chips so have it a go.

    The end result:

There is still a fair bit of pitting but it's not bad. The
Pitting would come out easily enough but I like to keep as close to original as I can and don't want to lose the engraving.

In the end this has become a decent shaver. Some might prefer a better finish, I like originality.

Thanks. My photography skills leave a lot to be desired (shocking that I'm married to photographer) the pics don't really do it justice.
