Actually, I find that the cement and powder combination is far less messy than greaseless compounds.

What is valuable in both Neil and Mike's posts is the advice on breaking up the surface when the mop is dry, to give more flexibility. I did notice when using them that you can't easily get into the hollow grind as easily as a mop with greaseless.

I work with chromium oxide and titanium oxide powders from time to time, that was what I meant.
