well done, the more you do the more you learn
Okay...well after listening to some of you who are far more experienced than I, I decided to continue on a few more levels up. I lightly sanded the blade with some 1000 grit sandpaper and the finished with 2000 grit. Lastly, I wiped down again with more automotive metal polish.

Here is the final shot. I have a LOT to learn about pinning, but this literally was my first shot knowing the end product was gonna be a tad rough. The scales are the original. I just sanded with 2000 grit and polished w plastic polish

Nice work buddy. Careful of that sanding zen bug. you get in the zone and days will pass without you noticing :<0)
