Replacement scales
Hi guys. Ive been out of the game for a fair while now. I have a few nice blades that need new scales which i will probably want to sell to get my hobby fund started again. Can anyone let me know any sources for fairly inexpensive replacement scales? Im from melbourne australia so i think think the exchange rate isnt too kind right now lol.

You could make your own out of some thin wood stock:) If you just want some new plastic scales to get the blades going again the cheapest I have found is Whipped Dog. I don't know about shipping but I am sure Larry will just charge you the actual cost.

I may have a go at making my own sometime also. My bandsaw needs repairing though and i have quite a few naked blades so will prob buy a bunch of replacements first

I have made my own scales and requires minimal hand tools. I got a 5 dollar coping saw, a dremel for drilling the holes and 80-1000 grit sand paper, double sided tape or wood glue. Takes about 2 hours of work to make a set. I have several links to buy thin cut lumber I have saved if you want PM me for them
