The other day I was rooting around in my razor junk bin looking for some used wedges and was wondering what else I could perhaps use that was a bit less utilitarian than the plastics and bone that are kicking around in the bottom of the bin. Then I thought of one of the white tail deer racks that have been around for several years sunning themselves in the backyard. I thought, that antler material would make great wedges. So this morning I took my dremel outside and cut off some portions.
Here they are.
For others who I am sure have cut antler material up; be sure to wear your respirator, this stuff stinks to high heavens when you cut it.
