What do you think of this bench grinder as a buffer?

I keep going back to this one because it's one of the very few over here that has variable speed. My only concern is whether the 1/6 horsepower motor is big enough to take a bit of pressure when using greaseless - have you come across any issues?

No issues at all and I use the hell out of it. I also run a flex cable off one side to power a mini belt sander for contouring scales:
