Dude that sucks. Sorry to see it.
You can still reshape the blade and save it to use.
Ouch, sorry about that one. Was this a 'bay purchase?
No from a shop.... Without good light and a good price I didn't see it. No excuses I didn't see it and think it was there. Then I added to it.
You are right. There is hope still that it won't be turned into a carving knife! More research but I have a couple of ideas. Yours are more than welcome!
I agree. It Sucks! But then if this is the worst thing that happens to me today I am doing great!
Yes,,, it sucks, so peel the heel and see what you have?
I'd cut it at the crack & shape a screwdriver (flathead) out of it & put it on my key chain ,,, because of the nice stamp on it. :beer2:
Strategic placement of a "thumb notch" :)

Oh my! If I remember, I always try to take a small flashlight with me. Sometimes these places are so crowded and have poor lighting!

I had a Torrey with a similar issue, though the crack in mine was more in the center of the razor. It's about a 4/8 blade now, but shaves rather nicely. It too less time to remove the cracked metal than it did to set the bevel. All is not lost.
Make it a Kamisori style razor. You can wrap the tang/ handle with some leather.
