I've done it with my finger tip, wearing laytex gloves of course.

Glen Strikes again with great info. Thanks Glen. I've done this once but now will have to do it again.
My only dislike about CA finishes is, all the ones I did have cracks in them now. I don't think it likes to flex with the scales too much. Other than that, I like it.
I picked up some spray on curing stuff for CA. It works great! Apply CA and then give it a quick spray and its set. I just did 9 coats of Med. Thickness CA with sanding in 1.5 hrs. Hope it works out well. Its the first time I've used this curing stuff. Bought it at the same hobby store I got the CA at.

They don't always crack like that, but it is a risk. I did these two over two years ago and no cracks yet. The biggest downside for me about CA is it makes wood feel like plastic.
