Holy Smokes! Your going the actual carving route?!?! thats fantastic! Even better than my 3d printer options! You sir, are genius!

When I started thinking about the idea I was thinking 3d printers, but they are limited to the material types that they can extrude. That plus the only ones with the construction resolution I wanted were not really diy friendly.
Idea stayed in the back brain as I got into other projects but now that I can make scale material blanks relatively easily it made sense to leap in and try.
I get math, I can see in my mind what I want things to look like, I just can't quite make my hands move in perfect XYZ directions without whiskey, and/or age induced ya and drift, hehehe.
So scan the images, convert to vector files, then to G code (math) for final 'hands on' editing and tweaking to the project, then to a set of stepper motors with tight tolerances on their joints, then to a good router bit held with serious accuracy for the axial movement, voila! Scale master 3000 is born..Pat pend, lol
Course it's all just theory until I get it working, and I'm sure it's not going to be as easy as it seems in my head, but if it works, it'll be cool. And repeatable.
Cheers gents, and again, thank you for helping to build the database.
I will be making the finished coded files freely available to all for the asking as a way of also giving thanks and PIF.

HI, These from my scanner.:
Attachment 259652
The scanner makes a file which can then be saved as a JPG or a PDF; either file is full size of the objects.
When ready, let me know if you want them as a PDF
Cheerz!

Thanks Richard. Will do..

Those are some great looking vintage skins. Will be definitely reaching out for some close ups of those.
