hi everyone,
i'm curious to clean a hollow blade by using some gr. compounds. as i did not try this before, i bought a gold dollar just to make some tests and learn. would you have any advice or videos which show how to hold a hollow blade while using a buffer and wheels with compounds ?

thanks for the links. i have already watched the videos of the madagascar but he works on a near wedge blade, and the second video is with final polish pastes, not greaseless, but still a nice exemple to try to hold razor as he does in second video.
I've found that you really want to use a very small buffing wheel for hollow grinds. I use a 1.5 inch pinhole buff on a tapered arbor. Even thos can be tough on corners though if you have a lot of work to do. I know use a sleeveless sanding drum on a drill for hollow grinds. I prefer 1 inch drum that can get right into the hollow area without causing any unwanted wear on the spine. They're also great for keeping corners and stamps nice and crisp. Since they use regular sand paper you can sand up to some really fine grits.

Never used greaseless with a buffer, but have with a dremmel using no more than 400 grt. slow speed and pressure.
Buffers scare the bejesus out of me anyhoo
