Can you recommend someone to fix this?

My wife dropped my oldest razor, and now the tip is chipped (see photo). This is a wedge with some pretty heavy hone wear. The rest of the edge is extremely sharp. What do you suggest I do with this? Is there anyone who works on restoring edges who can help?

It really doesn't look that bad. You should be able to round the tip and blend from the edge to the toe.

I do think it will be a bit of work to get a bevel set (in that area) once you do the rounding but with patience you should be fine. :tu

Thanks for the feedback! After much pain and elbow grease, I have come to realize that I am really bad at setting bevels, or maybe I just don't have the ideal materials for it. I have also never tried rounding off a chip like that. (I am good at improving an already decently sharp edge though)

So I suppose this time I was hoping someone would suggest a place (or person) where I can send this razor. But only if they are highly recommended (I don't want to make it worse, or that it comes back with rough file marks or whatever)

Good looking blade, rounding off that tip a bit isn't much work.

I dropped one of my prized Henckels by accident as well a couple of days ago, had to also rework my edge pretty good, got dinged up a bit

I'm usually not one to throw names around, but what I've seen from GSSIXGUN is nothing short of amazing, the man knows what he's doing and I'd fully trust him any of my razors

You and your wife were extremely lucky. This is an easy fix by just making a gentle transitional rounding of the chip.

Now, the important question is why was your wife touching your razor?
