This is the second of a set of many that I have - I really liked this one because of the angular grind, notice the angle of the spine and the toe, very cool.
Etch is crisp, also honed by Mr. Chandler, a real beauty.

Again, outstanding specimen! Are you keeping these or are they going on the auction block?
I am not sure whether I will keep these or not...I started with these because of the unusual shape and etching...but the "set" I was referring to has 15, yes, 15 other NOS never used, never honed JR razors in it from full concave to wedge...so I am just going through them one at a time - some of them obviously have to go - but who knows I may just keep them all - time will tell. Stay tuned for more as I get them done.

You're very lucky to have a collection like that of JR razors.
I have a beatiful JR 6/8 wedge that ToxIc polished, honed and rescaled for me that is a terrific shaver.
Also, I can't say enough about Joe C's honing, regriding, rescaling and razor-making abilities.
The case is very nice - you make it yourself?
If so, I suspect you could sell a few to members on the board!
Yes, the case is mine, and I went into it in this thread: http://straightrazorpalace.com/showt...t=13524&page=5
I am making a few for some folks, just let me know if you are interested by PM.
And thanks, the razors are very sweet - Mr. Chandler said the steel was unusually hard and made the honing tricky - I think they are superb shavers, and very elegant. I will put up a few of the other as they come out of the mix - I have been too busy making cases!

These NOS JRs you have are really very pretty . . . in a manly sort of way, of course! You're fortunate to have them.
That's a great looking razor case!
