Beautifull blade, but a too long and cracked hornhandle. I shorted the handle and used the original "Bulleyes". Than I polished the horn. Ready for shave.

How did you remove the original washers? Drill?
I use a router bit since my drill likes to wander on the brass pins :(

Yes, I drilled. But first I made with a little nail a hole in the brassrod. So the drill not went in the washers.
