Hey ! , all my razor and knifemaking friends. I have this Electro-Punch machine and i am trying to think of uses for it.
I can have a stamp made that will fit in it for stamping in my "makers mark" or i can use it for making conchos for hat bands, belts etc.
But, what other uses can you think of ?

How fast is it? It could be used for pinning! ;)
Seriously, the old collarless peens on the old Gencos, Cases and such always led me to think they were done by such a tool. Maybe some hollow dies either side might accomplish the same.
Does it have an adjustable limiter? Clutch? Foot pedal?

The dies would be rather expensive. The diameter of the punch is about 1".Quote:

If it is super-controllable, a flat or concave ram pushing lightly against a leather punch. Make holes. Make patterns.

The dies they use for cutting leather are called "clicker dies'' there are several company's that make them. Don't know if they would work for things other than leather (like thin wood or plastics)
