It is a vintage razor. So its worth restoring if you wanted too. I've got a lot of lesser named razors that I've restored, and they shave well. If I was going to try and sell them I'd never get my money worth with the time and effort put into them. But that's how collecting goes. We don't do it for the monetary benefits. Just knowing its a vintage razor and back in great shape is the reward.
Of course, the bigger names and bigger blades can always fetch a higher price if you're into selling. But the cost is a lot more in the beginning. This razor came from your folks and is vintage. That would be enough for me to spend my time making it clean and shave again.
