All good suggestions so far.
Like keeping the blade cool with the wet sponge, cutting from edge to spine, etc.
Check out the butchered blade, and the broken blade rescue mission.
Lately, what stands out in my mind is the flexshaft rotary tool extension, whichever manufacturer you have, the flexshaft is a game changer. Great tool!
The cutting discs and course drum sander are what I use the most.
With the design on the blade, I use a sharpie and eyeball it, always cutting a little "less" off and work your way to a more perfect result... Can't put steel back on..

With the black pillow case behind it, almost looks cut and shaped already!
A good way to see if you like the tip design.. Try a few styles out..
