On this i just left it in Neatsfoot for a month and then a light hand sanding and buffed. The second red horn blade will probably never get restored is my honest assessment , i have too many blades.
I have my chemicals for dyeing horn black and i got some advise from a Chemistry forum. The only thing is that i just acquired some great new black horn baked at a high temp, it hardly smells and doesn't warp with heat so dyeing horn is on the back burner for the time being ..
Also: The second blade has red horn scales but it is a different maker, one i am unfamiliar with , ill have to research it..
