If you haven't already, get Bill Ellis's CD on restoration, LOTS of tools shown and talked about :D
I've only been making scales, so I'll tell you what I've been using.
Dremel, scrollsaw, drill press, drum sander (on drill press), grinding wheel (on drill press), peening hammer, anvil, shop vac and table saw.
