Do you use anything to protect your edge when putting blades in the tumbler?
No,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I dont put blades in a tumbler. All sanding and polishing is done by hand.
Even after tumbling, your gonna need paper n polish. I hardly ever sand a full hollow. Use a single edge razor blade, and cut it off. Then some steel wool and polish.
A tumbler? I've never heard of that before. I cringe just thinking about a process such as that!
Not bad not the best. A vibratory tumbler and if the blade can benitfit from the process it shurly needs its bevel reset anyway!
I'll have to defer to the experts here on this one. Myself, I'll keep to the process of paper and polish that outback refers to earlier. That always produces great results! Oh yea, and sometimes deep cuts on your fingers if you're not careful!
Most any restoration is going to require a Full Bevel Set anyway, regardless of how you got there
Sandpaper, Buffer, Tumbler, whatever Maybe a laser would be the easiest I don 't know I can't afford one hehehe
