    Default Tückmar with lacewood

My last project. The Tückmar razor had some serious problems with rust (first pic.). For this reason I hat to polish not only the rust, no the gold was also gone away.
The handle in a traditional shape is from lacewood. The wedge is a 3 layer one, from brass, german silver, brass.

Shame about the rust, but those scales are fabulous.

You always come up with interesting designs, but this is by far my favorite. Beautiful work!

Beautiful scales and work, but I cannot stop looking at the spine on that blade. Amazing

Wow...that is beautiful. I don't think the gold coming off is really any loss. I chatting with JoshEarl, I think that the gold has to be near perfect or it make the blade look cheap...not sure why...maybe because it is such a contract to the steel.

Regardless, this look amazing! The wedge adds just the right subtle touch. Great work!

I don't know about any butt sandwiches, but this razor is a serious looker!!! Very nice work, Buddel. Really fantastic. Cheers!

Beautiful work, Buddel! Great idea for the spacer, too. What I'm wondering: with a decorative spine like this one, do you have to protect it with electric tape every time you hone?
