Swordplay with lacewood

The lacewood has a linseed polisch. The wedge is from green horn. The pins are from copper.

Another beauty. The washers are spectacular

The washer technique?? You buy them like that. They are for beading. You find them in craft stores. I use gold plated leaf patterned washers sometimes if I want it looking really fancy. Maybe I'll post a pic.

I don't think that matters really. You almost always have to drill the hole so a 1/16" piece will fit. They are usually smaller than that.

It´s right, the hole in the bead caps are smaler than 1/16. But it not a big problem. I pressed them only first on a 1/18 nail and than on a 1/16 nail. So you can easely expand the hole without drilling.
