Hello,
While using my Dremel to cut some wood, the cable inside the
flexshaft snapped. Does anyone know if you can buy the
cable separately or do I have to buy a new flexshaft? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you have to buy a new shaft, but they're cheap enough so it shouldn't be a problem.
New flexshaft. Did you raise the flexshaft above the dremel? You aren't supposed to do that cause it messes up the spinning. Why did it snap?
I had it going at pretty high speed and it got bound up, then
snapped. I thing for cutting I'll go without the flexshaft.
For those of you interested, you can order a new cable
through Dremel customer service. It costs $4.90, much
better than shelling out $30 for a new flexshaft.

Good info, I have one that is acting funny I may check that out.

It's important to keep those suckers well greased. Just pull on one end and let it slide about halfway out. Smear on a good coat of white lithium grease, then pull out from the other end and do that half. If it's making any significant amount of noise, then it probably needs greasing.
You could always get an aftermarket shaft. If you e-bay it, chances are you'll find one for under $5.
