The blade looks pretty worn down, do you guys recommend a restore on this?
I paid $2.80 for this on ebay.

EDIT: By the way, the blade is straight, but the edge has the smallest frown in center, I mean almost not noticeable. Of course the toe is much thinner than the rest of the blade too.
Here is the rub, if you wanted a perfect razor you would be spending more than $2.80....
That can be a perfectly serviceable razor in 6-10 hours in fact probably even nicer than serviceable if you take the time and patience with it...
The blade doesn't look that bad either.... slight uneven hone wear which can be corrected.....
6-10 hours :eek:? Man, I would just hone it and shave with it. As gssixgun said, it's not going to be perfect but it should shave really well.Quote:

The 6-10 hours that Glen mentioned is probably for a full hand-sanding restoration, which you can do yourself if you'd like.
To make it a great shaver, though, all that's necessary is to reshape the edge a bit and hone it.

Nah, just hone 'er up and she should shave just fine. Nothing wrong with that razor except for the hone wear which is quite correctable.
