Restoring old brushes

I remember reading a post about refurbing old brushes, but can't locate it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have 3 in the mail from ebay.

Unless you are looking to just restore the handle and drill out the knot. If you want the drill out the knot I have a good method, but then again so does everyone else. :D

Ive seen on some of the sights that sell brushes a cleaner for brushes. Ive ordered it for a brush I ust picked up. Look on Excaliber cutlery

I was planning on drilling out the existing bristles and replacing with a knot from the Golden Nib. I was looking more for what to do with the handle to help bring them back to their former glory.
