Lab Metal Repair products?

Just wondering if anyone has used these products, or ones similiar, Caswell Inc. - Lab Metal. Two reasons for asking. Number one, I was thinking of this as a general use product to patch up pitting when hand-sanding isn't an option. Number two, one of the very first razors I bought was a 7/8 R Hendrie wedge, I really didn't know what I was doing when I attempted to hone and restore it, consequently it ended up even worse than when I first bought it. Over the years I have gradually remedied the damage that I have caused, but the razor has quite a big chip (> 4mm) on the spine at the tip and I was thinking of building up layers to fill it in. I have a lot of time and effort invested in this particular razor and I really don't want to leave it with a big chip, this would seem to be the only way of remedying such a problem.
Any opinions on using these products for such a job?

Functionally speaking, yeah, it would probably fill your chip. But I'm pretty sure this stuff will look nothing like the steel of a razor and may very possibly look pretty bad.

But I have never used this product, no.
