- See, with all the curves on this blade... the curved spine, the curved shoulder, the curved bottom edge of the blade, the curved tang.. the curved handles... I cant believe you guys would think a spike point would fit the style of this razor.... :P I don't think I could pull myself to do it, even if it did get the most votes..so I didn't list it as an option :)

Option 1...that maintains the original relative curvature of the edge and spine. It keeps it all in visual balance. That's why we buy them in the first place.
Just my $.02,:)

I say option 3 for shaving, 4 for cutting vegetables :)
3 is what I would do, less work overall I think, keeps the width everywhere else, also won't require as much honing finesse probably. plus it would be different, never seen an original w&b with a spanish point.
Or send it to me, I'll salvage it for you :D

You could shorten the blade and give it a new notch if you don't want to go square/Spanish. It might look a little funny with the etching off center, but that is probably what I would do if she was mine.

Option #1
I've got to agree with Randy, and go with option #1 for my vote.

OK... I went ahead and did Option 2. I was leaning that way anyway--and it leaves me open to option 1 if I decide to later.
Heres how she looks now:

what do you all think? :D

It looks awesome! The curve of the edge looks very comfortable to shave with actually. Great save. :tu

Very nicely done.
It's a good thing that you listened to my advice!
