Clean out pitting
OK I have a blade that I have cleaned up and removed the rust from. It has some small pits that I just want to clean out rather than remove by sannding. What is the best way to do this? I have used some Brasso polish to try and reach into the pits but this has not worked.
Thanks
Rob

Brasso is a horrible polish compared to MAAS and T-wax rubbing compound (premium not regular).
First try MAAS with a cloth, it should be able to get down in there and scrub out the pits. Heres some before and after of what you can expect.

Being liquid, Brasso is great for candle sticks, signs, and the like. Simichrome or Flitz are creams that tend to clean better and yield a better polish. I've never tried Maas.
