So i made up a jig with some excess scale material, a piece of hardwood flooring, 3 Hard Drive magnets, and lots of electrical tape. My blades are shiny but now they're attracted to each other....in a bad way. Im worried about them and there magnetization from using the jig, i don't want the clicking together during storage. So does anyone know a good way to demagnetize them?

A good sharp knock de-magnetises things. Throw them at the floor & you should have no more trouble with them being attracted to one another!
Stroking with a magnet in random directions should work.

If you have an old electric barber sheer (the cheep ones that use an electro magnet, not the more expensive ones that use a motor) you can disassemble and use the electro magnet to demagnetize the blade…. Careful those electro magnets are very strong when powered up and may snap the blade from your hands, rest the blade on the iron core before powering up.
The magnets out of the hard drive have very strong magnetic fields, next time brake then into smaller pieces still strong enough to securely hold the blade.
I believe magnetized blades are a pain to hone because the steel particles will stick to the blade and dull the edge as it's sharpened.
