teak scales

I'm almost embarrassed to post my crude work with all the razor porn here. There is a pile of teak at my office so I'm trying with what is on hand. I've got to get some better pinning washers than what they carry a home depot. Does anyone know where the guy at fine-razors.de gets the nice micro torx blind nuts he uses? I got this Wade & Butcher heavy hollow on the bay last week for under $3.00 with another straight and a couple throw away duplexes. The second shot is everything I've rescaled to this point.

Is that last one on the right a one piece scale?

Pretty cool...like the big scales...harder to find, for big hands like mine.

Thanks for the kind words. The one far right is a big heavy W&B wedge so the big clunky one piece scales help balance it out. On the big hollow grind I used a brass Aluminium brass wedge so it balaces on the piviot. I'm not sure it makes a difference once you've got it opened to a 270 or better to shave with, but it sounds good.

Very nice scales. A piece of teak is already waiting in my loft to be sawn and used for some scales and boxes. Good to see some ideas.
