Got that off amazon for under $10 and chopped off the top after damaging a couple of edges while trying to fit the blade through the rather small hole. Works well. Even better with the top chopped off, no more risky business trying to thread the needle.
What's the problem with a magnetized razor that would require demagnetization?

My Sum-Extre is a magnetized blade. I love the feel when honing it on the DMT-EE!
They stick to other razors. :D Plus all the swarf sticks to them when honing. And like Seraphim says, they stick to the dmts.Quote:

I have found that few of my razors got magnetised while working on them probably from the holding jig which uses rare earth magnets. Strangely enough when I am honing them if there is any mess sticking to the blade it is on the tip therefore I can easily controll it.
