Restoration usage
Hello,
I used to make boxes for storing blades, now I've created something else and was wondering if it may be of use to any restorers. It's a clear adhesive tape with ruler indices on it. It has a one foot repeating pattern that is indexed in 1/16" increments. It can bend to any shape (curves, odd angles) and fits in tight spaces. If there's no use, no biggie. A link to the commercial site (redtape1.com) is listed in the vendor forum, but, again, my curiosity was whether there was anyone who might see a use.

I think this is a very good idea. While nothing comes to mind as to where to use it I am sure if I didn't have some on hand the uses would pop up and I would wish I had some. I should order some soon. How aggressive is the adhesive?

Decent idea. Personally, I just use a flexible 6" steel rule. Like reeeeal flexible. I can imagine this being a good resource for people who don't have a better option. You might get a better response on a knifemaking forum.

I think the vendor's corner is a better place for this as you are the proprietor/inventor of the merchandise.
Good idea, though. Better in metric...:gl:
