Hi, I used one dremel, I I sandpapered very with thicker sandpapers I tie to arrive in sandpaper 1200, later it was the part of burnishing I used green and red mass.

I think the best thing is that you made the most out of what you had available. I would never know this was your first time.
I really like the shape of the scales, and the photo is also excellent - the lighting on the scales really shows them off well.
You are better than me...
If I try to peen acrylic without lock washers I crack the scales.
