Does anyone know if the rotozip bits can be used in a dremel too?
I was thinking if the rotozip bits work in a dremel tool it could be used to rough cut wooden scales.

Dremel actually makes several types of cutters you can use for that purpose.

Ahh, I didn't know that. Thanks Phil. I will look into the dremel bits.
As long as you have the matching mouth piece -
Proxxon comes with 4 different sizes. Guess Dremel does too.
Those two are interchangable.
Good deal best of luck! Dremel makes a heck of a lot of attachments.
Should work, they're 1/8, which is a standard Dremel collet size (I think) Even if not, dremel makes that chuck that will let you fit anything in it, as long is it isn't too big. That chuck is great attachment. You'll need a rotary tool with some power for what you're planning, though, I think.
Unless you have a bit of experience with Rotozip bits I'd be careful of them in the dremel. If you're not, you may find your bit "zip"-ing off in a direction you hadn't intended...
I'm sure if you have them you probably know how to use them, but just to be safe...
