Proraso Man;
The spacers you ask about are those 'inner washers' I referred to in the write up.
They were already there within the original scales of the Friodur. And that was a good thing for me, as they are very hard to come by. [Note; The words, 'Very Hard', in this case really mean, "I haven't a clue where to find 'em."]

mry314;
I usually go to the following places to find small amounts of brass tubing and/or sheet.
My top choice would be a hobby shop, especially those for folks who like to build their own airplanes, boats or trains.
Another good place to find some amounts of brass and other materials are art supply shops. I often find the same assortments of brass and balsa wood, etc. which I would find at a model builder's shop, only in the art stores they are meant for students who plan on building *architectural models and the like.
Jewelery supply houses are a good source of metals, although perhaps less brass, and more on the lines of copper, silver, gold, etc. Sadly, there aren't any of those in my immediate area.
A last place to find some of this stuff is at auto supply houses and machine shops. One can find certain amounts of thin-rolled metals sold as 'shim stock' and the like.
Of course, there are some great sites on the internet that offer this stuff. So grab a glass of your favorite beverage and take a quiet moment to search
[Note: If you are really desperate, just take a fine-cut file and start thinning down some thicker piece of metal. It sounds like a lot of work, but it really doesn't take that long and, hey, we don't actually need very much metal for those little razor parts. If you want to be inspired take a look at some of the early gunsmithing work. Most of that was done by careful filing and graving. Think "patience", think "zen"..]Last edited by ignatz; 07-15-2009 at 08:16 AM.

Thanks Ignatz.
I was looking around in some modelling shops, and metal supply sellers, and i found some brass sheets, but in big sheets, and as You mentioned, we don't need much of the metal... That's why i asked...
