Kropp 6/8 in BAD shape
When i came across this one it was in pretty shocking condition, i knew it would probably never be the best razor in the collection but at the time i hadnt done much restoration work and thought i could do a lot of learning with this one, and if anything went wrong it would be no big loss. So I've been doing a lot of experiments on it over the last few months, learnt heaps, and now I've finally got it back together.
Scales and wedge are grey tint acrylic, brass pins, stainless washers.

I'd declare this lab experiment a success! :tu
Looks like you were able to study and learn at least four different razor restoration techniques from your "lab rat." Very smart, and well done. AND you have a good looking razor to show for it. How's the shave?
I wonder where you got the inspiration for your scales . . . ;):roflmao

I like the big chopper in the background - W&B if I'm not mistaken, good old Sheffield steel.:roflmao

Kudos. That was a sorry sad razor. Good job.

Kudos to you on the excellent work saving this one!

I wouldn't have bothered with that one. Past salvage in my opinion. How wrog would i have been?! Great transformation! The blade looks fantastic & i like the chopper shape in the scales.

I would have given it up to the Devil
Baldy... If that razor is "Lazarus", then maybe you should change your screen name to something befitting the work you do.

Very nice work having done a few razors now I know how much work went into that. You really have got some patience. I like the design of the scales it shows imagination to do something different and photographing it front of the inspiration for your work is very clever.
