Do you guys just use a small punch and hammer to drive out the pin and then drive it back in? I want to remove the blade on an old razor so I can restore the blade.

I have done it that way after filing the head down, you can also drill it out if you have a drill press.
Thanks. Once removed, what do I use to replace the pin?
The way you asked that question tells me you haven't done this before...
The pins on razors are not like drift pins on guns and cars, these are actually small rivets...
In the workshop welcome sticky I have compiled many of the threads that you need, read the ones on un-pinning and pinning, there are also pinning videos in the Wiki...

BTW this isn't as easy to do without cracking the scales as you might think, in fact you should practice the actual pinning on Popsicle sticks first before you try scales...
Wonderful. Thank you friends.
