Pivot torque Screws
WHat are the screws called that people use with the hex heads for pivot pins? Are they available at microfasteners and does anyone mind showing the link to them? I am sorry, but I am just too dumb to figure out what they are called and am worn out. I have wanted to see them and try them for some time.
Thanks for all the help.

Trey, I know that some guys are using this type of setup with 1/8 inch barrel pivots, after enlarging a tang hole this type of thing would work, but the barrel and screws may need shortening in order to get a tight fit on a razor.

And for the nuts http://www.microfasteners.com/catalo...cts/NUTHNB.cfm - Size 0-80 scale. Apparently the normal 0-80's are different size
You will probably want to pick up a pair of the hex wrenches for them - http://www.microfasteners.com/catalo...ucts/TNMWR.cfm

sorry trey, I read the thread title and thought you were talking about Torx screws some people are using for pivots... not the hex screws.. my bad, the links above are what you are talking about.

Small screws come in several head styles, button, flat, pan. They can also be had in several drive types. Torx is common, but so is a flat blade, phillips and hex.
Delirium is correct. The length of barrel and length of screw sometimes need to be adjusted to get the right fit.
