Gallery of scale materials, synthetic and natural

While searching for a local source to buy horn from, I stumbled upon a thread in another forum with a great post showcasing various styles of scales, allbeit for knives. I've been awfully curious about the possibilities for micarta and also wanting an easy way to compare different wood species, and I had a lot of fun looking at the knives in this post.

I'm not sure if SRP has a policy on linking to other threads, could one of the mods let me know if this will fly?
