This is my first restore got this razor off of the bay, it has a ton of hone wear and the patina was pretty bad when I got it but I love this razor none the less.
Right now I'm on 220 grit sandpaper. Unfortunately I don't think I will be able to remove all the pitting but I think it should look pretty good when I'm done regardless.

What kind of scales are you thinking of?
I am just going to clean up the horn scales it came with.
