Dremel with a wire wheel works great.
+1 Don, The wire wheel on the dremel tool works great....
I asked this not too long ago. $10 Electric spin toothbrush with flitz or maas. Also small jewelers files or gunsmithing files can work. There were some other options given as well. Use your imagination, it'll probably work.
sound good I'll give it a try.

From factory some jimps are sharp like a new file, but powered tools with wire brush tend to “blunt” too easily.
You could pick up a wire brush from the auto parts store… it looks like a toothbrush. Spread some metal polish on the jimps and let it sit for a while, then brush the polish out by hand, sometimes you may need to do a second round but when done it will look much cleaner and the jimps will still be sharp.
