I have a SR that needs a full Restore. I went to the Member Services section and there are a few people that do Full restores. How do I choose who to use? I know the SR will need new Scales also so it's not just a polish and hone job.

look at the photos they post in the gallery, and see who's style you like best... Then send PM's and talk about your ideas and find out who gets your vision, or who you'd like to give artistic license to.
Do you have a pic of the actual razor... a description with brand name and size perhaps?
Most everyone offering restoration services has photos of their work. Each one has their individual style, pricing and methods. I would spend some time looking at different people's designs and discuss what you are trying to do with the people who's work you like the most. I send all of my restos to Glen. I usually give him total creative license and I always end up impressed. I am not trying to sound like a commercial. I have seen other guy's work and I am always amazed at the wealth of restoration talent we have around here.
Exactly, everyone has a talent and a niche, as well as a wealth of photos in these forums of their work. Each guy has a different angle, technique, approach, aesthetic, so poke around the galleries for the work that resonates with your own sensibilities. Browse around, and communicate with the restorers you like, ask for quotes, estimated times, etc. Everyone is very friendly and we're all here to help one another out.Quote:

I for one dont really like the idea of restoring a blade that i dont even know that i like
maybe just a little cleaning and honing
