Quick fix for Bolsters/inLays on the scales

Just got a beautiful NOS razor but the silver bolsters on one scale are loose and likely to come off soon. What would be the best way to fix this? I have a few ideas but want to be certain to get it right. Any help would be most appreciated.

Okay Here are the pics!!!!! First pic is an overall shot of the razors condition. Second shot focuses on the problem, the silver bolster lifting up from the corner of the scale. By the way when I picked up the package this razor was sent to me in I could not understand why the box was so heavy. Opened the box up and to my astonishment the blade is very heavy and big. I love this razor!

My initial thought would be to burnish the inlay to curl it, but inlays curl in the direction of the burning...you would have to completely remove the inlay and burnish from the back side, so I guess that's out of the question. The only thing I can recommend in this situation is the slightest touch of epoxy and then holding the inlay in position for a day.

Thank you for the advice. I thought to use the epoxy at first also but wanted to see if their was a different and safer alternative. I feared messing up the bolsters. I am happy to get a response from you. Have not seen this particular problem addressed in the wiki or forum discussions. It appears to my surprise that this problem may be over the heads of most people here. I admit it does seem a difficult task needed to be undertaken with the most delicacy . Appreciate the feedback. Send it to me, it's clear that those bolsters are fake, as is the blade! I'll make sure it's safely disposed of!

A rather rude, demeaning, and bold statement, it isn't above any of our heads, it was the part about a "Quick fix"... That is the reason that most of the Restorers are not answering your post...

Epoxy will work yes, but keeping it neat and clean is going to raise a bit of a problem... try applying it with a needle under the bolster use the 5 min set type and hold it down with a awl type tool until it sets ... That would be a "quick fix" maybe !!!!! then again it might just pop up again... Hence the reluctance to the term quick fix...

First i'd like to thank you for your feedback respectfully. Secondly, It was not my intention to offend or come across as rude or bold or demeaning. I made an assumption based on the fact that none of the experts or experienced members responded to my query. This along with the fact that there is nothing in the wiki about this type of problem yielded me to the conclusion that perhaps it was an untouched topic and unknown to remedy. The title of the thread was to simply initiate the subject. As you read the subject you can clearly see (as above ) that I was open to any method quick or long to accomplish the task. I understand this wonderful forum is based on the principle of it's members making the CHOICE to share and help one another. I'm learning and enjoying myself simultaneously. I hope to one day have the ability to share the same wisdom and experience with members using the same hospitality shown to me.

I think that is the best route to go, without tearing it down completely,,, IMHO

If it were to be torn down then Red's post is the correct one with the burnish or some time of re-bending to re-create the shape then re-seating the whole thing would be my route of choice..

I hope that explains it better and it is a Beautiful Razor BTW
