I drew up some more ideas on that sheet of paper and i'll be putting them into the box i'm posting your way tomorrow Glen, cant wait to ear about how she shaves :O
amazing job as usual.
The scale material is very beautiful. They will fit with the look of the razor great.
Looks great Glen!
I'm really excited to see the finished item..! :)
Here's one that I did a while back: http://straightrazorpalace.com/works...ern-input.html
I've had a lot of offers on it, but can't seem to let it go. It is still in my rotation and I have to say it's a dream to shave with every time.

This thread is totally addictive. I find myself checking on it every couple of hours even though I have no idea what time it is in Idaho. Keep it coming Glen.
hehe Go enjoy the pool and the kids I am still at my real job and all there is for later tonight is coats of CA and sanding... BORING stuff :D
i found a compromise.. i took the laptop to the pool and am using someone's wireless connection.. how i can have my steady iv drip of srp while i work.
Well it is done and I guess the real moment of truth will come as soon as I get it on the hones and try shaving...
The name "Junkyard" came from the fact that besides the Brass pins, the washers, and the piece of Amber for the wedge, the whole razor is made up of scraps...
The Burl with the CA finish is even more beautiful in person, I wish I could have pulled all the pits out on the front too... I actually managed to get almost all of them from the back side...
This one is for sure going to be finished on my Nakayama I just have too :)
Well here are the pics...
