Really, pins aren't hard to tighten or figure out, and they look nice...

Two Popsicle sticks work great as practice scales, they are free after a treat, and they will crack if you hit them too hard....
Also for you screwy guys :) Every single razor I have ever touched that has Screws of any kind, except for a Feather that has a spring washer in there, has been loose and gets loose very fast...
Now they are easy to tighten in fact about as easy as they loosen...
Pins should need tightening about every 6 months or so

The loosening is what I hate about those screws. I've wondered if loctite would solve that problem, or create a worse one. Not doing restorations, I don't really have any reason to mess with it, and tightening them isn't enough of a problem for me to bother. Just spit-balling here.
